We invite participants to don traditional Peranakan attire—vibrant Nyonya kebayas and intricately patterned batik shirts—and for beautiful selfies and videos in the museum,  against the rich backdrop of Singapore’s Peranakan heritage.

This experience not only takes you on a visual journey through time but also, along the way, deepens your appreciation for the rich Peranakan culture.

Ladies

Don the elegant sarong kebaya for ladies, and step into the shoes (quite literally) of the Nyonya. Kasut Manek shoes along with hair accessories, custom jewellery available complimentary to complete your elegant Nyonya look. (An inner camisole will be provided for wearing under the sheer kebaya, but you’re also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.)

Gentlemen

Step into a classic batik shirt, rich with intricate patterns steeped in Southeast Asian heritage. (Please bring your own trousers and footwear.)

Kids

Sizes are available from 1 year onwards for both sarong kebayas and batik shirts. For girls, simply bring suitable footwear, while boys should also bring trousers to complete the look.
